Hike/social - New Year's Day Polar Plunge and hike.

Let's welcome in the New Year by getting outside and enjoying the seashore as we watch the inaugural activity of jumping into the water... feel free to take the plunge; I'll watch.

Then we will go for about a 4-5 mile walk along the shore, followed by a late lunch at a local establishment.

Let's try to park in the beach lot. We will meet on the beach, to the west of the beach buildings (that is on the right as you face the water). If there is no space in the lot, there isots of available parking in the nearby neighborhoods... meters and sticker parking are all open and free this time of year, but do beware of the no-parking areas.
