North Kingstown - Wilson Park and Bush Hill

HIKE/SOCIAL: WILSON PARK
DETAILS:
Easy 2 ½ mile hike in Wilson Park. Then we go out to eat. Hop off the couch and join us.
Wilson Park, on the edge of Wickford Village, offers a nice mix of wooded trails and paved paths that extend from the playground to the boat launch on Wickford’s inner harbor and also connect to Bush Hill Nature Preserve via the footbridge.
Directions: From Rt. 1 North take the right onto West Main Street (Route 1A). From Rt. 1 South, take a left onto West Main Street. (Route 1 A). The Park entrance is almost immediately on the left. We’ll meet at the playground parking lot just to the right of the park entrance. (not the kayak/boat launch)
TIME: Hike will start promptly at 6:00 PM so try to arrive around 5:45 for introductions and check-in.
If you are unable to come to the hike, please change your RSVP as soon as possible so that others on the waitlist can be notified in time to join us. If you’re not going to dinner afterwards, please post a comment on MeetUp since it will help with our dinner reservation details.
Any cancellation or change or additional comments due to weather will be announced by 3 PM. Depending on snow/ice conditions, cleats may be advised. And definitely warm clothes and flashlights.
