HIKE/SOCIAL: RYAN PARK
DETAILS:
Easy 2-2 ½ mile hike on the west side Ryan Park, now famous for Iver the Mudslider, a Thomas Dambo troll. Then we go out to eat. Get off the couch and join us.
There are some roots and gravely spots so please wear appropriate hiking shoes. Water is always recommended but the bugs are not out yet (knock on wood ….).
DIRECTIONS: From Rt. 4 North take 102 South exit towards Wickford. From Route 4 South: take 102 South exit towards Wickford. In about ½ mile, turn right onto Lafayette Road. Then the next right onto a dirt road leading into Feurer Park (there is a sign) and then left up the hill to the parking area.
TIME: Hike will start promptly at 6:00 PM.
If you are unable to come to the hike, please be sure to change your RSVP as soon as possible so that others on the waitlist can be notified in time to join us. If you’re not going to dinner afterwards, please post a comment on MeetUp since it will help with our dinner reservation details.
Any cancellation due to weather will be announced by 2 PM.
