Hike/Social Newport

2 1/2 to 3 mi walk along the Newport Waterfront and we will go to dinner. Get off the couch and join us.

We will meet at the park-and-ride lot right off the bridge, and walk on the bike path and along the water, to enjoy the springtime in Newport.

The Park and Ride is right near the bridge exit, but it is a little tricky. As you come to the bridge exit, stay left to turn left at the light, but get into the rightmost of the 2 left-turn lanes.
When you get to the second light, the lot will be right across from you, but you have to be in the right-hand lane to cut across. You will not be taking the second left turn towards Newport.

Also, just to confuse you, there is a Park and Ride at the Jamestown side as well. You do not want that one. Go over the bridge and follow the above directions.
