HALF A HIKE AND A WHOLE CONCERT

Enjoy a shorter hike than usual in Lincoln Woods (45 minutes) on a new route exploring some of the interior trails rather than the outer trails.

Wear sturdy footwear with good tread, hiking boots/trail runners are best, hiking poles may be helpful, so would bug spray. Dress for the weather/wicking clothes. Bring hydration and snacks.

The temp is projected to be 73 and sunny. The woodland trails are cool and shaded all the way.

MEET TIME: 2:15 pm to allow time after the hike to get to the concert a bit early as there are a lot of food trucks.

LOCATION: 2 Manchester Printworks Road, Lincoln, RI 02865

DIRECTIONS: 2 Manchester Printworks Road runs off of route 123. As soon as you go over the beautiful covered bridge, you’ll see an un-used toll booth. Take an immediate right turn after the toll booth. Follow the road into the playing fields parking area where we will begin the hike.

The concert is at Chase Farm, and starts at 4 pm because it gets dark sooner. Bring money for the food trucks. You can pack and bring your own as well.. BRING FOLDING CHAIR.

The band is Those Guys which is a good rock and roll band.
The concert is free. If you can’t make the hike, we hope you can come and enjoy the concert.
