20/30's Bethlehem Hike

Join us for a 5/6 mile walk in Bethlehem, home of Moravian University and the iconic Steel Stacks, which speak to Bethlehem’s once mighty role in the US steel industry. Our walk begins at 10 AM at the Wind Creek Casino parking lot, where we can park for free and start our hike. We’ll then take the elevated "Hoover-Mason Trestle" to explore Steel Stacks and supporting area. We will then head over by walking 1st Street to the Hotel Bethlehem area of Main Street, exploring the city center and the Moravian University campus. We can take a quick break at “The Joint” coffee shop just off Main St. On our return, we'll go back via the Philip J Fahy Memorial Bridge, then explore the vibrant Bethlehem South Side driven by Lehigh University along 3rd Street.

Bring water and snacks. Dress accordingly for the weather and wear comfortable walking footwear. Rain will cancel.

We will meet at 10 AM in front of the Wind Creek Outlet stores (restrooms available inside) right next to the Wind Creek Hotel near the Wind Creek Casino, address is 77 Wind Creek Blvd., Bethlehem, PA Free parking is available near the hotel (to the west of the hotel). GPS 40.614536, -75.36006.
