Audience: 20’s & 30’s

Description: If you are in your 20s/30s and looking for a great winter hike – this one is for you! Join us for an easy relaxed-pace 6-mile hike around the reservoir. Let's hope to catch a glimpse of bald-headed eagles or other unique birds that are frequently seen in the area. Perhaps we will be lucky to witness a flock of snow geese and their majestic sky show. The trail includes a short rock hop with a rope to assist across a shallow water crossing.

Meet and circle up at 10am at the visitor center. Wear sturdy footwear and blaze orange. Pack water, lunch, extra layer and traction devices [micro spikes/stabilizers - if temps have been below freezing]. Rain/snow cancels. Please note cell phone reception and GPS satellite signal are spotty at Merrill Creek. Contact L[s] for additional information.
