20s/30s Hike: 5-6 mile Wissahickon Valley Park

Join other 20s/30s for a 5 - 6 mile hike on the beautiful trails of Wissahickon Valley Park. We will meet at the Regal Cinema parking lot on Main Street in Manayunk (very close to the Wissahickon Transportation Center, and parking readily available). We will walk on the Wissahickon Bike Path alongside Wissahickon Creek for a short while before we head up onto the hilly side trails. We'll make stops at Hermit's Cave and Lover's Leap, cross the historic Blue Stone Bridge, and walk through Blue Bell Park before heading back to our starting point. Trails are hilly, with rocks and roots; moderate pace. Dress in layers for the weather and bring along plenty of water and snacks for 2.5 - 3 hours in the woods. Coffee/lunch available afterward - leader will provide recommendations.

Steady rain, hazardous driving, or deep snow covered trails will cancel - check status the day of the hike or contact leader with any questions.
