Winter Backpacking Skills Workshop - All Age Groups

If you are a backpacker with three-season experience who wants to up their game and try winter backpacking, then this workshop may be for you. Build your knowledge and confidence by learning how to stay warm when temperatures drop, manage moisture in snow and rain, navigate frozen landscapes, and much more.
This 2-day workshop is held in a controlled environment in a Fort Washington, PA state park, less than 20 miles from Philadelphia and conveniently located near Rte 309 and the PA turnpike. Seasoned backpack leaders will help you prepare for overnight trips, including planning routes, operating equipment, packing/maintaining gear, and much more.
