20s/30s Hike - The Wissahickon in TV and Movies

If you are in your 20s or 30s, this event is for you! The Wissahickon is not only a beautiful place to hike and enjoy nature -- it is also a popular movie and tv filming location! Come join us on a 5 - 6 mile hike through the park as we explore many filming sites. The moderate-paced hike will take place on both Forbidden Drive and some of the wooded trails. Trails are rocky and there are hills! Anticipated hike time 2.5 - 3 hours depending on the pace of the group. Opportunity for a post hike lunch/snack at one of the many restaurants in Chestnut Hill.

Bring along plenty of water and snacks and dress in layers for the weather. Restrooms available approximately 1.5 miles into the hike. Steady rain or hazardous driving conditions cancels - check status on website by 7am the morning of the hike or contact leader with questions.

Logistics - we will meet at the corner of Rex Avenue and Seminole Street - there is plenty of free street parking in the vicinity.
