Description: Feel like meeting other 20s/30s for a night out? Looking for something different to do on a Saturday night? The Banff Film Festival might just be for you.

Each year, the Banff Centre for the Arts in Banff, Canada accepts action film submissions from around the world. Films are reviewed by judges and by general viewers. The favorites of both groups circulate to over 550 locations on the globe, making the Banff Mountain Film tour the largest of its kind.

One of the regular tour stops is Immaculata University, just outside of Malvern, PA. Films for Saturday, March 8 include:

- Biking from Kathmandu to Nepal's Dolpo Region
- Downhill skateboarding on Europe's most challenging road - Downhill descent of Mt. Robson in the Canadian Rockies

And that's just before intermission!

Parking is well-organized on the Immaculata University campus, and signs for - and people walking to - Alumnae Hall will be obvious.

The doors open at 6:30pm for the 7:30pm show. Let's meet in the lobby at 6:30-6:45pm. The lobby will be congested with venfors and people waiting in line. The day before the event, I'll send out my mobile number and you can text me as you arrive at the hall so I can tell you where the group is meeting. If possible, I'll set aside some decent seats before you get there.

Buy your ticket BEFORE you register for this event. That way, we'll know you can get in for sure. Tickets are sold online through the Philly Rock Gym - https://philarockgym.com/banff/. Advance tickets are $19.95. They often sell out in advance, so don't delay too long if you really want to go.
