May-June Trail Skill Days in Philly

One of the reasons AMC can offer great hiking opportunities is because there are great parks and trails in Eastern PA, NJ and DE.

But trails don't just happen. They are available because people take the time to maintain them: moving fallen trees, trimming branches, cutting back invasive vines and shrubs, picking up trash.

From May 6-June 10, the AMC will be teaching and performing trail maintenance on 5 Philly parks , starting with Lemon Hill and Wister Woods.

Sign up for one of the workshops or trail volunteer sessions. They are 1/2 days offered during the week and weekend.

And these trail days offer lots of bang for the buck: explore a new park in Philly, meet new people, get outside and help maintain a Philly park. What's not to like?
