The trails in the Wissahickon are rocky (sometimes slippery) and rooty, with rolling hills. The hike will be about 5 miles long with just under 800 feet of elevation, and at a moderate pace.

After the hike, the plan is to meet at the Market at Fareway , which offers a variety of food/beverage options.

Logistics - we will meet at the Chestnut Hill Parking area - ( (Coordinates: 40.072828, -75.215850) to begin our hike - This is not a large parking area, so we may need to have some people park at nearby trailheads.

Anticipated hike time 2 - 2.5 hours - please bring along snacks and water, and dress in layers for the weather. Closed-toe sturdy footwear recommended.

This trip is intended to be a 20s/30s affinity trip. Participation is limited to those who identify with this age group. If you have questions about eligibility or the nature of this trip, please contact the trip leader(s) by whatsapp for more information.
