Description: Come join us to learn how to paddle a canoe safely and enjoyably on a quiet pond near Boston. This one day workshop will teach you all the basics to paddle solo or tandem. Participants must be able to swim. Participants must wear PFD while on the water. Canoe rentals, paddles and lifejackets (PFD)s are available on site. Class and canoe rental @ $20 person. After a morning of orientation and instruction, we take a break for lunch. Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. Later in the afternoon, we can paddle in a group around the lake as long as the weather allows. If you are thinking of going on a canoe camping trip over the summer, go bird watching, or want a nice way to take the kids out on the water this could be for you
