Description: Join us for a relaxing evening paddle on the Charles River. We'll meet at Paddle Boston in Waltham by Moody Street. If you need to rent a kayak, please arrive early, go to PaddleBoston's Waltham rental location and rent a kayak before the 6pm meeting time.

Carpooling is encouraged, parking is a couple blocks from the dock. The nearest train station is the Commuter Rail, Fitchburg Line station, <10min walk across the bridge.
This is beginner friendly paddle.
Event Details: Paddling Duration: ~2.0 hours Water Conditions: Flatwater (we'll paddle out and return to the starting point) Boat Options: Single/tandem kayaks and paddle boards Rental Info: Single Kayak: $33 for 1.5 hours (includes paddle and lifejacket) Waiver: Must be signed ahead of time – Paddle Boston Waiver Lifejackets: Required at all times on the water What to Bring: Clothing: Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and dirty Dry Bag: Recommended for electronics and valuables (leaders will have a few, but space is limited) Sun Protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen Layers: It can be cooler and windier on the water than on land Additional Info: This event and many others are open to the public so you don't have to be an AMC member. Exact meeting location and launch point will be emailed to registered participants. Optional drinks / snacks at Margarita's on the water after the paddle.
