Exploration of Nauset Harbor and Marsh

Join us for a day of exploration of Nauset Harbor and marsh in Eastham within the confines of the Cape Cod National Seashore. This paddle combines a salt pond bay, a saltwater marsh, sand flats and a barrier beach.
We will paddle @ 10 miles in fairly protected water with some tidal currents. You will need a suitable boat, which is >14.5 feet with closed hatches. You need to have intermediate kayak skills to participate on this trip, such as turning and maneuvering, wet exits, and rescues. You should be capable of sustainably paddling at an easy to moderate pace (~1.5 - 2.5 mph).
