Paddling season is here! Dig out your paddling gear, load up your boat, and join us practicing strokes, braces, and rescues on the water at Lake Cochituate in Natick. We will review gear and practice paddling strokes in the morning, then practice rescues and rolls in the afternoon. You are welcome to join us for the morning, afternoon, or all day. This is an important event for all Paddling Leaders and LiTs to attend and share techniques. You will need a boat (borrow or rent one on site), PFD, spray skirt, paddle, and suitable clothing for swimming in the afternoon. Also bring your tow lines, spare paddles, VHF radios, and other safety gear for discussion and practice. Contact leader for more details and itinerary.
Registration is needed for planning various group instruction. Beginners are welcome and will have their own introductory group. Experienced paddlers will cover advanced techniques.
