Description: Please join the Boston Chapter Paddling Committee for a late fall paddle on the scenic Sudbury River of approximately 8 miles at a moderate pace. This is a weather-dependent trip and thus snow, rain, or strong winds will lead to cancellation. Participants should be regular paddlers (kayak, canoe, or SUP) who have sufficient safety gear (PFD, pump or bailer, spare paddle, 3 mm wetsuit or drysuit with thermal layers underneath, neoprene booties, and neoprene gloves) for this trip and who are confident they can either roll or wet exit and self rescue in cold water temps should the need arise. This is a flat water paddle and promises to be a beautiful trip with a gentle current.
