8 Mile Lake Tiorati Hike (Vigorous)

Meet in parking lot at Lake Tiorati, Harriman State Park, NY for an on-time departure at 9:30 AM.

This loop hike will be about 8 miles. We take the AT to the RD through Times Square, continue on the Lichen and ASB trails to the Lemon Squeezer, returning on the AT and Long Path. Expect a vigorous pace and over 1100 feet elevation gain. This hike is vigorous because of the pace and minimal stops. You will be expected to be able to keep pace with the group. Terrain requires hiking boots, poles recommended.

No public transportation.

Should be done in about 4 to 4.5 hours.

Bring a lunch. No dogs.
