Beat the heat ! Walk in the evening!
Down Under the Manhattan Bridge, or DUMBO, section of NYC has transformed tremendously in the past 10 years. As we stroll along the waterfront, we will check out the parks, gardens, special art installations, and other changes to this neighborhood.
Pace will be slow, so there will be opportunities to enjoy the spectacular views and take stunning photos. Terrain is paved and mostly flat with some gentle slopes. Bring a hat, water, and your smiles.
This is a Show & Go Walk. No registration is required, but please RSVP so we know how many to expect. Everyone must sign the Waiver when you arrive.
Meet at the Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Factory by the Dumbo Ferry Landing at 6:00pm. We’ll have a brief talk about AMC and the route. We start off no later than 6:15pm.
