Please meet the trip guide Dev (he/him) at the entrance to the tennis courts on Green Street. He will have a small Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) tote bag on display.
End: Tarrytown Train Station | 8:00 PM

Please join this relaxing walk along the Hudson River on Sunday evening as we say goodbye to the setting summer sun and entrain our rhythms to those of the environment. Beginning from the tennis courts at the Tarrytown Train Station (Green St.) [Hudson River-side of the train tracks] we will walk along the scenic riverwalk approximately 3 miles during our 3 hours together. Throughout this time there will be a theme of mindfulness which will include opportunity for the exploration of our inner experience as well as the space shared between us as community. The walk is to include practices with general guidance such as physical postures, seated meditation, and mindfulness activities.
Please wear what you prefer to be outside for three hours and walk three miles in. There will be access to a bathroom at the beginning and ending of the event at the Tarrytown Recreation Center. It is recommended to bring water, snack(s), sun protection and an additional layer of clothing (such as a fleece, wind shirt or rain shell.) We do no need any additional gear and will utilize benches, grass, concrete, etc. to support our practices.
