START LOCATION: Heritage Trail Parking 41 Clark Street,
Monroe NY Coordinates: 41.32655, -74.18093

The Heritage Trail is a 10-foot wide trail on the right-of-way of the former Erie Railroad.
The current 19.5 mile trail winds through a bird/wildlife sanctuary, historic landmarks, murmuring streams, rolling meadows and friendly communities. Access points are in Harriman, Monroe, Chester and Goshen, all with convenient parking.

We will ride approximately 38 miles from Harriman NY to Middletown NY and back. The trail is relatively flat. I will maintain a relaxed 8-10 mile pace. Those who wish to ride faster are welcome to do so.

I ride a road bike, but hybrids are fine on the trail.

Bicycles must be in operating order with the appropriate amount of air in tires.

Cycling helmets are mandatory. Protective eyewear is highly recommended. Sun screen is recommended.

Option for ice cream stop at Trial Side Treats which is located on the Heritage Trail in Goshen NY.

Please bring plenty of water and smacks/lunch.

Rain/Severe weather cancel. Please check email the evening before if in doubt.
