My name's Christi Barb and I'm happy to have you join my group and I look forward to meeting you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

How it works:
I'll have a Google spreadsheet open and will share my screen on Zoom.

I'll ask everyone what words they'd like to practice.

We practice those words and you can choose how much or how little you want to participate. I will never ask someone to speak, I always wait for people to speak when they want to (just raise your hand with the reaction symbol).

After each Meetup, I record myself pronouncing the words we practiced together and post it on my YouTube channel and also post the link in the discussion section of that day's event. You can find the videos on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/adastraspeech

About me:
I'm a professional speech coach with a PhD in Speech-Language Pathology. I combined that with teaching English as a second language and specialized in helping people with speaking American English clearly. I love what I do and started these Meetups online as a way to help more people from everywhere in the world.
