On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous

Hi all -- For the first book in our revamped American Experience format I've chosen a novel. Yes, I do like fiction! This book by Vietnamese American poet Ocean Vuong has been recommended to me a number of times and it seemed like a particularly apt time to read it since it explores themes of Asian-American experience (May was Asian-American Heritage month) and LGBTQ+ identity (June is Pride Month).
