What we’re about

We're a local group of recreational boaters / volunteers who teach boating classes (navigation, safety & boat handling) to adults who are interested in boating beyond their local waters...and... especially to young people - age 16+ who want to learn about boating and qualify for their boating license.

Our membership is a mixed bag of folks who share a love of boating and exploring by boat.  We have no government, religious or political affiliations...we're just folks who enjoy hearing and talking about boating in unfamiliar waters.  We have members who don't own boats, and some have retired from boating, and others are current and past "Loopers".

We are America's Boating Club - Music City Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons.  (We've been around since 1914).

Our March monthly general meeting will be held at the Corner Pub Between the Lakes in Mt Juliet, a restaurant/pub meeting room, and all are invited.  Our monthly meetings include guest speakers and members who talk about their recent boating adventures.

There's no cost other than the cost of your own meal & drinks at the restaurant.

Look for a list of coming activities and boating classes. See you on (and off) the water!
