From Metro-Land heights to Tudor valleys
Escape the city to discover a town split beautifully across time. On this comprehensive guided tour, we begin at the top of the hill to explore the birth of "Metro-Land"—the early 20th-century railway boom that transformed Buckinghamshire countryside into a modern suburban paradise. Along the way, we will unearth stories of wealthy brewing empires, the reality of the Poor Laws, and the town's most infamous twentieth-century criminal connection.
