"Clay is silent muscle; the body is a moving sculpture." What happens when we stop planning and start feeling?
For our March special edition workshop in Amsterdam, Cloud Causality is partnering with artist Yin Yin to host a unique cross-disciplinary experiment: Clay ✖️ Physical Theatre.
In this session, we aren't here to "learn" a technique or "make" a perfect object. We are here to find Flow . We will move from the tips of our fingers to the soles of our feet, exploring how external materials can mirror our internal movement.
We invite you to get your hands messy and your body moving. Let’s see what shapes emerge when we stop thinking and start "kneading."
🎭 Theme: Flowing Shapes In this session, we transition from the malleable clay to the living body. We will explore:
The Art of Non-Planning: Starting from a simple sphere and letting the shape evolve through touch and movement, rather than a pre-set idea.
Co-Creation: How our individual "shapes" merge and transform when we play as an ensemble.
The Beauty of Uncertainty: Finding art in the moments where we don’t know what comes next.
🌿 What You’ll Experience
Tactile Exploration: Hands-on work with clay to ground your focus and awaken your senses.
Movement Mirroring: Interactive exercises connecting physical theatre with the shapes we create.
The "Stop & Layer" Game: A group process of building, changing, and evolving together.
👥 Who Is This For? Perfect for anyone who wants to:
✔ De-stress and disconnect from the "logic" of daily life.
✔ Explore creativity through a mix of handcraft and movement.
✔ Connect with others in a playful, low-pressure environment.
✔ Absolute Beginners friendly: No arts or theatre background needed. Just bring your curiosity!
