This is the group is about ADHD+, for those who:
- Are diagnosed or not.
- Have a person in their lives with it and what to understand them better.
- Are curios about it.
There are specific challenges that come with living with ADHD, and in my experience it is extremely important to be able to explore them together with peers. This is why I created this space where we can connect, share experiences and find practical solutions.
Whether you are seeking guidance, support or simply a listening ear, the group is here for you.

- I will open the door as close as possible to 18:30 (I'm time blind)
- We aim to start the conversation by 19:00
- We will have a 10 min. break around 20:00
- We finish around 21:00- You can stay in the space until 22:00

ADHD+ Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRB) - Lecture + Q&A
Huis van de Wijk De Koperen Knoop, Van Limburg Stirumstraat 119, 1051 BA,, Amsterdam, NLWhen people think of ADHD, many symptoms come to mind: executive dysfunction, time blindness, difficulties with concentration, impulsivity. But what about hair pulling, skin picking, or nail biting?
Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs) are a group of conditions involving the uncontrollable urge to pull, pick or bite at your skin, hair or nails.
They are commonly done automatically, and are often tied to emotion (dys)regulation and sensory discomfort. Research suggests that around 40% of people with BFRBs also have an ADHD diagnosis, and the true overlap may be even higher.
In this session, we’ll hear more about BFRBs and their connections with ADHD, and then open things up for a relaxed Q&A.
Alone everything can be hard, together we can understand ourselves better and create the world we need and deserve, and have fun in the process.
