ADHD+ Tools: Nonviolent Communication
Details
Nonviolent Communication for Neurodiverse Folks
Ever wished conversations came with a little less guesswork and a little more room to just... be yourself?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a simple way of talking and listening that helps us name what we feel, what we need, and what we'd like — without masking, blaming, or shrinking.
In this session, Aine will teach us the basics of NVC: how it can support us in building community, asking for what we need, and meeting each other (and ourselves) with a bit more kindness.
Come as you are, no previous knowledge needed.
Alone, everything can be hard. Together, we can create the world we need and deserve... and have fun in the process.
Practicalities:
- Bring your own food and drinks, share if you feel like (no alcohol)
- I will open the door as close as possible to 18:30
(I'm time blind, I can be late but I'm trying my best)
- We aim to start the conversation by 19:00
- We start with an introduction circle that takes +- 30 min
- We will have a 10 min. break around 20:30
- We finish around 21:30

See you there.
