We are a dynamic community of locals and expats aged 35+, hailing from all corners of the globe and from diverse career backgrounds. Our members include expats who’ve chosen Amsterdam as their new home, as well as Dutch nationals keen on making international connections.

Group Policy:
Please only RSVP to events if you will definitely be there. If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP so someone else can take the spot. Repeat No-shows will be removed from the group. This isn't about being super strict! We want to foster real connections, and that means many events will be smaller and more cozy, so it's important that those who sign up also show up, as much as possible.
Space is limited at many venues. We also try to keep the event attendance balanced to make the most comfortable setting for everyone. Therefore, if you are not on the "Going" list / don't have a paid ticket, please do not just show up. Some venues may not be able to accommodate extra people.
Some venues require advance deposits or reservation tickets. For these events, guests who paid in advance get priority. Anyone else may be welcomed on a space-available basis. If an event is sold out, we cannot accommodate guests without paid tickets/deposits. This group is not a business or profit-making endeavor, so please be considerate of any reservation requirements.
Most importantly, please join us and let's make connections! Whether you're new in town, a long time local, or a native Dutch person, we welcome you. The only requirement is that you be at least age 35 and want to connect with other people living in and around Amsterdam :)

The Kasteel de Haar will also be open for visitors if you would like (separate tickets required to enter the castle). The event hours are 10:00 - 18:00 Friday 31 May, Saturday 1 June, Sunday 2 June. I will be there from around 1pm (13:00) on Saturday 1 June. Parking is available with additional parking ticket.Please note: Cash is required to purchase food, drinks, etc at the event.
Public transport: A shuttle bus is available from the nearby transport stop. The shuttle buses depart from Vleuten station to Kasteel de Haar every hour. On the way back, they leave at half an hour. We are not affiliated with the event or venue. This is a public event. Feel free to go on your own, or find us there. Wear your walking/dancing shoes!
We will meet around 1pm (13:00). There are no special spaces for our group at this event. If you arrive earlier or later, you can find us inside! We will use the event chat in the meetup app to communicate with our group.

Repeat No-shows will be removed from the group. If you do not have a ticket, we cannot guarantee entry. The venues have limited space and do not always welcome extra guests.
