About us
The Energy Young Professionals is a curated networking community based in Amsterdam, bringing together young professionals working across the energy sector (including sustainability, and mobility). The group currently counts around 60 active members from a wide range of backgrounds, including utilities, startups, consulting, finance, grid operators, public institutions, and clean-tech companies.
We organize monthly in-person gatherings focused on informal exchange, peer learning, and professional networking. Our meetings typically combine presentation and open discussions with experienced guest speakers and pure networking events. The goal is to create a space where young professionals can connect in an informal way but also discuss industry developments openly, exchange perspectives across disciplines, and build long-term professional relationships.
Our members are based in or around Amsterdam, active in the broader energy ecosystem, under 35, and willing to participate regularly in the group’s activities.
Beyond networking, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the next generation of professionals driving the European energy transition and to connect them with more experienced voices from the industry.
