Vampires Adam and Eve have been in love for centuries. Adam, a reclusive musician surrounded by vintage instruments, has grown deeply disillusioned with modern humanity and lives withdrawn from the world. Eve, his eternal partner, travels across the globe to be with him, and her presence briefly restores his sense of meaning and connection.
What unfolds is a languid, melancholic, and unexpectedly tender meditation on love, art, decay, and survival in the modern age. Jim Jarmusch’s take on the vampire myth is atmospheric, ironic, and quietly romantic — a film about devotion, creativity, and what it means to endure when the world no longer feels hospitable.
