Calle Málaga
Calle Málaga follows María Ángeles, a 79-year-old Spanish woman living a quiet and independent life in Tangier, Morocco. Her daily routine is disrupted when her daughter arrives from Madrid with plans to sell the apartment where María has lived her entire life. Determined not to lose her home and the memories tied to it, María resists and sets out to reclaim control over her life. Along the way, she rediscovers her surroundings—and unexpectedly, love and a renewed sense of self.
With warmth and emotional depth, the film explores themes of aging, independence, and belonging, anchored by a powerful performance from Carmen Maura.

The film is in Spanish and Arabic with English subtitles.
