Pressure
In the tense 72 hours leading up to D-Day, British meteorologist James Stagg faces an almost impossible responsibility: predict whether the weather will allow the largest seaborne invasion in history to go ahead. With millions of lives potentially depending on his forecast, Stagg must convince General Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Allied command that the conditions could force them to reconsider their plans.
Directed by Anthony Maras (Hotel Mumbai) and based on David Haig's stage play, Pressure transforms one of the lesser-known stories behind D-Day into a historical thriller about science, leadership and decision-making under extraordinary circumstances. Andrew Scott stars as Stagg opposite Brendan Fraser as Eisenhower, alongside Kerry Condon, Chris Messina and Damian Lewis.
