12 Angry Men
A young man is on trial for the murder of his father. After hearing the case, twelve jurors retire to deliberate, with a guilty verdict carrying the gravest consequences. Eleven are ready to convict, but one juror is not convinced. What follows is an intense examination of the evidence, the assumptions each man brings into the room, and the meaning of reasonable doubt.
Directed by Sidney Lumet and led by Henry Fonda, 12 Angry Men is one of the defining courtroom dramas in cinema history, despite taking place almost entirely inside a jury room. Through its increasingly claustrophobic cinematography, sharp dialogue and ensemble performances, the film explores prejudice, justice, group pressure and the power of dissent. Originally released in 1957, it received three Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture.

The film is in English with English subtitles.
