Palestine 36 follows ordinary Palestinians whose lives are transformed by the 1936 revolt against British colonial rule and the growing tensions over the expansion of Jewish settlements. Through personal stories of loss, resistance, and survival, the film brings a crucial chapter of Palestinian history to life with both scale and humanity. At a time when Palestine remains at the center of global attention, it offers powerful historical context and a perspective rarely seen in mainstream cinema.
