You have watched performances that stopped time. You have also watched performances that left you completely cold. The difference is not talent. It is not experience. It is something else entirely.

In this workshop you will begin to understand what that something is. As an experience.

The Discovery is a starting point at Monnarc. If you have already done some previous work, it is not necessarily your starting point as an actor.

If you have never acted before, you will get to know the craft firsthand. We will not expect you to already know how to act. If you have acted before, come prepared to question what you already do instinctively and explore a more structured way of working. What matters is not how much experience you have. It is your willingness to explore the work.

You will leave understanding what the craft actually involves, what structured actor training feels like, and what changes when you approach a scene differently. And with a clear answer to a question you may have been carrying for a long time: is this something I want to pursue further?

Two and a half hours of hands-on work. Exercises, short scene work, and direct guidance from Verónica. Maximum 15 participants.
