Description:
In our always-connected digital world, it’s easy to get caught in an endless cycle of scrolling, consuming bad news, and feeling drained. Many of us feel like our attention is no longer our own, yet we struggle to disconnect.
This in-person meetup offers a reflective and supportive space to explore how doomscrolling affects our minds, why it’s so addictive, and what we can do to reclaim focus, calm, and energy. You’ll leave with practical strategies to step back from digital overwhelm — without guilt or judgment.
This is not a therapy session and not a lecture on technology.
It’s an opportunity to share experiences, learn evidence-based tools, and connect with others seeking balance in a digital world.
What We’ll Explore:
✅ Why our brains love doomscrolling (and why it’s so addictive)
✅ The impact of constant digital consumption on stress, anxiety, and sleep
✅ Digital detox strategies that actually work

Why In-Person?
Conversations about attention, stress, and digital habits benefit from shared presence and authentic dialogue. Being together in the same space allows for warmth, nuance, and real connection that screens often can’t fully offer.
