Description:
Living in a big city like Amsterdam can feel exciting at first — everything is new, stimulating, and full of possibility. But after the “honeymoon phase” of settling in fades, a different reality can emerge: emotional fatigue, subtle frustration, or a sense of disconnection even when life looks good on the outside.
This meetup offers a safe, reflective space to explore what happens after the initial excitement of a new city or life phase wears off. We’ll talk about the emotional shifts that come with long-term adjustment, and what actually helps us rebuild stability, meaning, and connection over time.
This is not therapy and not a lecture.
It is a space for shared reflection, psychological insight, and human connection.
What We’ll Explore:
✅ Why emotional fatigue and frustration can appear after initial excitement fades
✅ The psychological shift from novelty to long-term reality
✅ Practical ways to re-ground yourself and adjust more sustainably in a new environment

⏳ Arrive on Time! ⏳
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can start on time and make the most of our shared space.
Why In-Person?
Conversations about adjustment, belonging, and emotional change benefit from shared presence and honest dialogue. Being together in the same space allows for reflection, resonance, and the realization that many people quietly experience similar transitions in big-city life.
