Details

Burnout prevention and recovery often begin with small shifts, like stepping out of our everyday routines and letting a story bigger than ours slow us down and inspire us.

On Tuesday, March 10th at 14.55 pm, we’ll visit the Huis Marseille, the first photography museum in the Netherlands, located in a beautiful old canal house that still hosts various photo exhibitions. The host of the event is Assia.

📸 About the exhibitions
We’ll explore Body as Resistance by Yumna Al-Arashi, a poetic and political exhibition challenging stereotypes of Arab women and reflecting on resistance and the female body, alongside Designed World by Tata Ronkholz, a retrospective of her objective photographs of kiosks and industrial architecture capturing everyday structures and social change.

✨ Good to know

  • We’ll meet at the museum entrance (inside)
  • We’ll start by getting introduced and then enter the exhibition together
  • Please buy your ticket in advance unless you have a Museum card (among others)

📝 Community guidelines

  • If you RSVP, please attend. 💛

  • Arrive on time (a few minutes early is ideal). ⏰
  • For casual events: stay as long or as little as you like, just let us know. For workshops: stay for the entire session. 🌿
  • Be fully present and keep your phones tucked away. 📵
  • You don’t need to be on burnout leave to join, but this is a community centered around burnout prevention and recovery. 🌸
  • Be kind and respectful; any harmful or unsafe behavior will lead to being asked to leave and removed from the community. 🚫
