Burnout prevention and recovery begin with taking back control of your energy and protecting yourself in a world that constantly pulls at your attention. Imagine if you could consciously choose where your energy goes? And if you could spend it on what truly matters, and release the rest?

On Thursday, April 16th at 10:55 am, we'll come together in de Boomsspijker (Room 2.3) where Ellen Duffy-Lueb, certified stress & burnout (prevention) coach, will guide us through the circle of control to help us map where our energy goes and how to claim it back. We’ll learn practical strategies to protect our energy, create boundaries that serve us, and leave with tools to make conscious choices every day.

What to expect:

  • Understanding how your energy gets pulled in so many directions each day
  • Practical tools to identify what is (and isn’t) worth spending your energy on
  • A simple method to use the circle of control in daily life
  • Shared experiences in a warm, supportive, and zero-judgment space

This workshop is for you if:

  • You wonder why you end up exhausted at the end of each day
  • You’ve gone through burnout, or want to prevent it from happening (again)
  • You want to set clearer boundaries to protect your time and energy
  • You’d love to connect with like-minded people who “get it”

You’ll leave with:

  • A clear picture of your biggest energy leaks (and how to stop them)
  • A personalized circle of control map to guide your daily choices
  • Practical tools to protect your energy: at work, at home, and on the go
  • A sense of clarity, empowerment, and connection with others on the same journey

⚠️ Important information
This is a donation-based event. A minimum contribution is requested to cover the event costs, and anything you choose to give above that is a gesture of gratitude for the facilitator. Donations will be arranged after the session via Tikkie or cash.

Ellen Duffy-Lueb is a Certified Stress & Burnout (Prevention) Coach, international trainer, and founder of Reclaim Your Control. After experiencing the impact of stress and burnout herself, she developed her signature FOCUS framework to help (mainly) ambitious women in international work environments protect their energy, reclaim their time, and create sustainable success. With a holistic approach that integrates body, mind, and soul, Ellen supports busy professionals in setting healthy boundaries and living with intention, so that they can thrive without burning out.

  • If you RSVP, please attend. 💛
  • If you need to cancel within 24 hours before the event, reach out to the host directly. After two late cancellations or no-shows without notice, or if you don’t show up to your first event, you’ll be removed from the community. 💔
  • Arrive on time (a few minutes early is ideal). ⏰
  • For casual events: stay as long or as little as you like, just let us know. For workshops: stay for the entire session. 🌿
  • Be fully present and keep your phones tucked away. 📵
  • You don’t need to be on burnout leave to join, but this is a community centered around burnout prevention and recovery. 🌸
  • Be kind and respectful; any harmful or unsafe behavior will lead to being asked to leave and removed from the community. 🚫
