Burnout prevention and recovery begin with slowing down enough to truly feel where we are, and gently reconnecting with what we need and where we want to go - by coming back into the body and our inner world.

On Thursday, May 14th at 2:45 pm, we’ll meet in front of OT301 (AnaMorphic Studio), where Virag, embodied transformation coach, will guide us through a gentle, embodied exploration of our burnout journey and what’s beyond, using movement, visualization, journaling, and creative expression.

The workshop will be 2 hours, followed by an optional open space to stay a bit longer, connect, and share with others. If the weather allows, we’ll go for a walk in the Vondelpark. 🌻

🌿 What to expect:

  • Embodied exercises to reconnect with your body and inner signals
  • A guided inner journey to explore your burnout and beyond
  • Journaling and creative expression to deepen your experience
  • Translating your insights into real life and steps to take
  • Group sharing in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space

✨ This workshop is for you if:

  • You're going through or recovering from burnout
  • You feel disconnected and overwhelmed
  • You’ve been in your head and want to reconnect with your body and inner clarity
  • You’d love to connect with others who are navigating similar experiences

🌱 You’ll leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of where you are and what’s present for you
  • A felt sense of direction - not just mentally, but in your body
  • Clarity on what you need more (or less) of in your life right now
  • One small step you can take in your everyday life
  • A sense of connection, recognition, and shared humanity

💫 What to bring:

  • Two small objects: one that represents your past, and one that represents your future (we’ll use them during the session)
  • Something to sit on comfortably (a blanket or a cushion)
  • A notebook and a pen
  • An open mind and a willingness to explore 💛

This is a donation-based event. Your contribution is a gesture of gratitude for the facilitator and helps cover the venue costs. Donations can be made after the session via Tikkie or in cash.

☀️ About the facilitator
Virag (Vi) Barabas is an embodied transformation coach and the founder of Amsterdam Recharge Club - Beyond Burnout, a community for burnout prevention and recovery. After experiencing burnout herself, she shifted from a life driven by performance and external validation to a more grounded, intentional way of living, and now supports others in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and exploring what they need through embodiment, reflection, and shared experience.

  • If you need to cancel within 24 hours before the event, reach out to me directly. 💬
  • After two late cancellations or no-shows without notice, or if you don’t show up to your first event, you’ll be removed from the community. 💔
  • Arrive on time (a few minutes early is ideal). ⏰
  • For casual events: stay as long or as little as you like, just let us know. For workshops: stay for the entire session. 🌿
  • Be fully present and keep your phones tucked away. 📵
  • You don’t need to be on burnout leave to join, but this is a community centered around burnout prevention and recovery.
  • Be kind and respectful; any harmful or unsafe behavior will lead to being asked to leave and removed from the community. 🚫
