UX Crawl is a series of meetups aiming to understand the UX landscape of Amsterdam. Every Wednesday, we will be visiting a new host, UX team, and learn what they are working on, hear about the lessons they've learnt, and stories which inspire them.

SETTING A DATA INFORMED DESIGN CULTURE IN A BIG ORGANIZATION

Data driven design is not a buzz word anymore. But, for any big organization like ING with over billion monthly customer interactions being data driven can get challenging and exciting at the same time.

ING’s design team will share their experience on how designers can play a role in making their organization more data driven and what challenges they have faced along the way. A hands on exercise will introduce you to ‘Continuous Discovery’ process which is a great way to facilitate data driven culture in teams and bridging the gap between design and business.

SPEAKERS

• Pragam Rathore is leading the Design for Digital Sales at ING. His mission is to empower designers and design teams to play a bigger role in building impactful products. In his talk, Pragam will share his experience with ‘Continuous Discovery’ and how it is helping him bridge the gap between design and business at ING.
• Freek Plak is a passionate designer with a decade of experience. Fascinated by data-driven design, he embarked on this journey four years ago and last year graduated with a Master's degree in the field. Today, Freek is a driving force behind ING Design's shift toward data-driven design.
• Jade Meneve is a senior UX designer and manager with a strong affinity with data-informed design. She currently leads a team of 20+ UX professionals who are responsible for delivering UX strategy, research, and design for a global financial organisation.

HOST
ING’s Design Center of Expertise is 58 strong designers who serve two countries, Netherlands and Belgium. They believe that UX Designers can solve any customer experience challenge. They use their creativity to co-create best-in-class solutions in order to create customer value and new market opportunities.
