I'll apply this to our meal bill. Our events are often popular and our seats few, so I'm determined to avoid sad empty seats that could have gone to eager waitlisters. 48 hours before the event I'll start inviting waitlisters to fill unpaid spots, so the sooner the better. Q: What's the no-show policy?
A: We kindly ask that you shoot the host a message or un-RSVP 24+ hours before the event starts if you can't make it to avoid being counted a no-show—this way eager wait-listers still have time to fill your place. Two no-shows may result in removal from the group.
Q: How can I support?
A: Did you know that your humble organizers pay about $360 a year to bring events to you on Meetup? A tiny annual donation from you is all it takes to keep the events coming.
