Owner Hiroki
Graduated from Langara College in Canada. Licensed to teach English at junior and senior high school levels in Japan, he spent over 7 years involved in English education. Grateful for the opportunities Meetup has given him, Hiroki started this group to give back.
Currently, he is active internationally as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and works as a software engineer in Vancouver.

Karaoke Night (カラオケナイト)
Book Kyung Ban Jeom, 1638 Robson St, Vancouver, BC, CACome and join us for a night of singing, laughter, and good vibes!
We'll be headed to the best karaoke place on Robson Street!
With a huge index of songs to sing in a variety of languages including but not limited to English, Japanese and Korean
and an amazing selection of food and drinks on their menu, BK Karaoke offers an amazing experience for Karaoke lovers.
We will meet up outside the entrance to BK Karaoke, I will take attendance, and once everyone is accounted for we will enter together.
I will wait up to 15 minutes past the listed event start time for any late comers.
We will sing for 2 hours starting at the time we enter the karaoke room so don't panic if we enter the venue a little bit later than the listed meet up event time.
Event Cost: $8 - $15 per person to cover 2 hours room rental.(Official Instagram Follower only)

Ordering food or drink is not a requirement, but you may very well do so if you would like.
The only financial requirement is to pay your equal share of the room rental. The amount you must contribute will depend on how many people arrive to the event. This will range between $8 and $15. This must be paid up front at the counter when we first enter the restaurant or you may not participate in the event.
The restaurant accepts cash or card.
Karaoke Rules and Etiquette:
- We will all take turns adding a song to the karaoke roster. As the host, I will put in every effort to make sure the song selection is done fairly and orderly.
- It will be up to the person who added the song if they would prefer to sing solo or allow others to join in. Please respect the decision of each member in this regards.
- While positive feedback is heavily encouraged, this is not the time or place for negative critique on singing skills. We are here to have fun.
Insulting people for their singing ability or conducting any other rude, abusive or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave and you will be banned from further events.
- Drink Alcohol at your own discretion. If you are of Drinking age, feel free to order and consume alcoholic beverages while participating in the event.
However, if your drinking leads you to rude, abusive or disruptive behaviour, you will be asked to leave and banned from further events.
Attendance Rules:
- You must arrive on time to the event. You are, of course, welcome to leave early if you need to do so.
Most chit-chat events do not require you to arrive on time. We typically have a "come and go as you please" attitude to allow flexibility so you may
attend our events in a way that fits your schedule better.
For this event however, entry costs are calculated and paid before being able to enter the karaoke room.
The group will wait up to 15 minutes past the listed start time for everyone on the RSVP list to show up. If we do not hear from you by that time, we will commence the event without you.
- Communication is key. If you RSVP for this event and later decide that you wish not to attend, please formally cancel your RSVP. There is a limited amount of people that can be included in this event, and it would not be fair to anyone who may be on the wait list who could have attended the event in your place. If you RSVP to the event and you don't show up without previously cancelling your RSVP or trying to communicate with the host in any way, you will be considered a "no-show." If you "no-show" three times, you will not be allowed to RSVP again for this event.

英語・日本語・韓国語をはじめ、豊富な楽曲リストから好きな歌を選べます。
さらに美味しい料理やドリンクも揃っていて、カラオケ好きにはたまらない体験ができます。

### 集合場所と時間
- 集合場所：BK Karaoke の入口前
- 集合後に出席確認を行い、全員揃ったら入店します。
- イベント開始時刻から 15分間は遅刻者を待ちます。その後は入店し、2時間のカラオケを楽しみます。
- 入室が少し遅れても、歌う時間は2時間しっかり確保するので安心してください。

- 順番に1曲ずつリストに追加していきます。公平になるようにホストが調整します。
- 曲を入れた本人が「ソロで歌う」「一緒に歌ってOK」を決められます。必ずその判断を尊重してください。
- ポジティブなフィードバック大歓迎！ ただし歌唱力に対するネガティブな批判は禁止です。
- 他人を侮辱したり、失礼・迷惑行為をした場合は退場＆今後の参加禁止となります。
- アルコールは任意で注文可能（飲酒は自己責任で）。ただし、飲酒により迷惑行為をした場合も同様に退場・参加禁止となります。

### 出席に関するルール
- 時間厳守でお願いします。途中退室は自由です。
- 他のChit-Chatイベントは「出入り自由」ですが、このイベントは入室時に料金をまとめて支払う必要があるため、遅刻はできません。
- RSVP後に参加できなくなった場合は、必ずキャンセルしてください。
- 定員があるため、待機リストの方に参加の機会を譲れるようにする必要があります。
- 無断欠席（No-show）を 3回繰り返した方は今後RSVPできなくなります。
