Join us for a fun summer evening as we watch the Summer Lights in English Bay fireworks together!

We’ll meet before sunset, enjoy the beautiful beach, chat with new friends, and then watch the fireworks show together.

Whether you’re new to Vancouver or have lived here for years, everyone is welcome!

📍 Meeting Point: Inukshuk at English Bay (exact location will be shared with attendees)

⏰ Time: 4:00pm

Feel free to come late!

What to bring

• A blanket or beach chair
• Water and snacks (optional)
• Warm clothes for later in the evening
• A positive attitude!

This is a casual social event, so feel free to come on your own. Many people attend our events solo, and it’s a great opportunity to meet new friends.

Organizer: Hiroki
He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and the founder of Chit-chat Canada.
He holds Japanese teaching licenses for junior high and high school English and taught English to students in Japan for over seven years.
In Canada, he works as both a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and a software engineer, contributing to his local community through his professional work and community activities.
Hiroki is passionate about giving back, supporting others, and creating opportunities for people from different backgrounds to connect.

🎆 English Bay 花火大会 Meetup

バンクーバーの夏の風物詩、English Bayの花火大会をみんなで楽しみましょう！

花火が始まる前にビーチでゆっくり過ごしながら、おしゃべりをしたり、新しい友達と交流したりしましょう。

バンクーバーに来たばかりの方も、長く住んでいる方も大歓迎です！

📅 日時: 7月31日（金）

📍 集合場所: English Bay Inukshuk（詳細な集合場所は参加者にお知らせします）

⏰ 集合時間: 午後4:00

参加費: もちろん無料
(ただし、無料入場チケットとして、Official Instagramアカウントフォローをよろしくお願い致します。)

安心して遅れていらしてください。
ただし、遅くなるとビーチが人混みがすごくなり、見つからなくなってしまう恐れがあるので、そこだけは気をつけてくださればと思います。

持ち物

• レジャーシートまたは折りたたみチェア
• 飲み物・軽食（必要に応じて）
• 夜は少し冷えることがあるので羽織れるもの
• 楽しむ気持ち😊

オーガナイザー: Hiroki
ブラジリアン柔術黒帯。ブラジリアン柔術指導者であり、このコミュニティの創設者です。
中学、高校の英語教員免許を持ち、たくさんの方に日本では7年にわたり英語を教えてきました。
カナダでは柔術指導者、ソフトウェアエンジニアとしての顔を持ち、カナダ社会に貢献しています。
たくさんの方に貢献したいという気持ちがあるそうです。
