Happy Halloween from Chit-chat Canada! 🎃
Join us for a special Halloween edition of our English & Japanese Language Exchange!
Come celebrate Halloween while practicing English and Japanese, meeting new people, and making friends from different cultural backgrounds!
Whether you’re a beginner, an advanced speaker, or simply looking to make new friends in Vancouver, everyone is welcome!
Coming alone? No problem! Many of our participants join by themselves, so don’t be shy! 😊
🗣️ How Our Language Exchange Works
To make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to practice, we’ll divide the event into two language sessions!
🇨🇦 5:00 – 6:00 PM | English Only (60 minutes)
During the first hour, everyone will communicate in English as much as possible!
This is a great opportunity for English learners to practice speaking, improve their confidence, and learn from native speakers and other participants.
🇯🇵 6:00 – 7:00 PM | Japanese Only (60 minutes)
During the second hour, we’ll switch to Japanese!
Japanese learners will have the opportunity to practice with native Japanese speakers and fellow learners in a relaxed, supportive environment.
One hour of English, one hour of Japanese — a fair opportunity for everyone to practice!
All language levels are welcome. Don’t worry about making mistakes!
Native speakers and advanced learners are encouraged to help beginners and make everyone feel included.
👻 Halloween Special!
Since it’s Halloween, feel free to come in costume!
Whether it’s your favourite character, a spooky outfit, or just a small Halloween accessory, we’d love to see your Halloween spirit!
🎭 Costumes are encouraged, but completely optional!
You’re more than welcome to join us in your regular clothes!
🍽️ Dinner After the Event!
The fun doesn’t have to end when the language exchange is over! 🎉
After 7:00 PM, we’re planning to go out for dinner together!
It’s a great opportunity to continue conversations, get to know your new friends better, and enjoy more time together.
Dinner is completely optional, and everyone will be responsible for their own food and drinks.
Restaurant details will be announced once confirmed.

🎃 ハロウィーン特別企画！英語＆日本語の言語交換 👻
今年のハロウィーンは、Chit-chat Canadaの仲間たちと一緒に楽しみませんか？🎃
今回は、普段の英語・日本語の言語交換イベントにハロウィーンの要素を加えた特別交流会を開催します！
英語や日本語を練習したい方、国際交流に興味のある方、新しい友達を作りたい方など、どなたでも大歓迎です！
お一人での参加も大歓迎です！ 😊
初めて参加される方も、ぜひお気軽にお越しください！
🗣️ 英語と日本語をそれぞれ1時間ずつ！
今回のイベントでは、参加者全員が公平に言語を練習できるように、最初の1時間を英語、後半の1時間を日本語に分けて交流します！
🇨🇦 18:00 – 19:00 | English Only（英語タイム）
最初の1時間は、できるだけ英語だけで会話しましょう！
英語を勉強している日本人の方にとって、ネイティブスピーカーや他の参加者と英語を練習する絶好のチャンスです！
🇯🇵 19:00 – 20:00 | Japanese Only（日本語タイム）
後半の1時間は、日本語での会話に切り替えます！
日本語を勉強しているカナダ人や海外の方が、日本人や他の参加者と日本語を練習できる時間です！
英語60分、日本語60分！
どちらの言語も初心者から上級者まで大歓迎です！
ネイティブスピーカーや上級者の方は、ぜひ初心者のサポートをお願いします！
間違いを恐れず、楽しく交流しましょう！
👻 ハロウィーン特別企画！
せっかくのハロウィーンなので、ぜひ仮装をして参加してみてください！🎃
好きなキャラクター、怖いモンスター、面白いコスチュームなど、どんな仮装でも大歓迎です！
もちろん、ハロウィーンらしい小物を身につけるだけでもOK！
🎭 仮装は任意です！
普段着でもお気軽にご参加ください！
🍽️ イベント後はみんなでディナーへ！
言語交換が終わった後も、交流を続けましょう！
19時のイベント終了後は、希望者のみんなで一緒にディナーに行く予定です！🎉
イベント中に仲良くなった人たちと、さらに交流を深める絶好のチャンスです！
言語交換イベントだけの参加も、もちろん大歓迎です！
ディナーへの参加は完全に自由です！
※ディナーでの飲食代は各自負担となります。お店については決まり次第お知らせします。
