Time has slipped away on me and so I think I'm going to have to get prescriptive again. I will come back to democracy, I promise. For this round, we're going to watch a German spy thriller called 'The Lives of Other People'. As you might gather from the title, this is not just a pass-the-time potboiler. Questions about surveillance and its boundaries are central to this one.
As always, dinner & wine served at 6:30. Movie starts at 7:00
p.s. I'd like to ask folks to please avoid an RSVP of yes unless you're pretty certain to come. Food planning hinges on expected attendance. I am ok with RSVPs of yes that are changed to no before the day of event.
