dbt Meetups are networking events open to all folks working with data! Talks predominantly focus on community members' experience with dbt, however, you'll catch presentations on broader topics such as analytics engineering, data stacks, data ops, modeling, testing, and team structures.

ACA shares how its Data SDD framework supports day-to-day analytics engineering: building dbt models, debugging data platforms, and tracing issues from Power BI back into dbt.

As an Analytics Engineer at ACA Group, I combine traditional data engineering practices in dbt with modern tools and agentic AI to deliver reliable data models faster. I focus on data modelling and monitoring data quality, particularly in complex, rapidly changing business environments.

From AI Features to Trusted Insights: Building a Data Platform with Snowflake, dbt and Power BI
We built a data platform on top of the product at Parte. Raw operational data and AI traces land in Snowflake. dbt sits in the middle: it turns that raw data into a clean, tested model the business can trust. Power BI is where they follow adoption, quality, and cost. I’ll walk through that path at a high level, and why dbt is what keeps the reports stable while the AI features keep changing.
