Andrew Baron will talk about data science in relation to memes, revealing important trends and methods for identifying or generating data sets, and then analyzing them.

Ted Hart will talk about facilitating open science through developing R packages that allow for open and reproducible research pipelines between the R environment and web available open data.

Sean Helvey will present on the results of the Startup Quality Survey, created to gather data about features of startups from different perspectives. Basic questions such as “how happy are your customers” and “how significant are barriers between teams” result in distinct responses depending on the respondent's role, the size of the company, and other characteristics.
